BaSix Knowledge Academy is a fully accredited private high school for grades 9–12, proudly headquartered in DeKalb County and serving students and adult learners across every county in Georgia.

For 28 years, BaSix has remained committed to educational excellence, offering both in-person and online pathways to graduation. Our programs are accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), the oldest and most respected accrediting body in the state, recognized by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

As a GAC-accredited K–12 Private School and Online Academy, BaSix graduates are eligible for:

  • HOPE Scholarship opportunities

  • College admissions nationwide

  • Military enlistment, upon meeting entrance exam requirements

With a 90% graduation rate and over 8,000 proud alumni, our students are thriving in colleges, universities, military branches, and careers across the United States.

Accreditation

BaSix Knowledge Academy is fully-accredited with quality as a PRIVATE SCHOOL & as an ONLINE ACADEMY by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, since 2005, through Georgia Accrediting Commission. GAC is the oldest accrediting body in the State of Georgia. Qualifying graduates of BASIX KNOWLEDGE ACADEMY are eligible for the Hope Scholarship and college admission throughout the United States. Graduates are also eligible for military entrance after passing required entrance exam scores. Currently, over 6,000 graduates of BaSix Knowledge Academy are proudly represented in major colleges, universities and technical schools throughout the United States. BaSix Knowledge Academy is not responsible for any colleges and/or post secondary options admissions policies. If needed, please be sure to check with your prospective institution prior to applying to BaSix.

(Effective August 1, 2017, BaSix will no longer subscribe to NCAA qualifying rules for athletes in our Instructional Division. If athletes are desiring for grades to be considered for NCAA eligibility, BaSix will not be the ideal choice)
